About Allison Singh

Allison Singh created It Happened on LI Books to share stories she never learned as a child growing up and educated on Long Island. The mission of It Happened on LI Books is to discover and share these stories with readers of all ages. Allison believes “the book is just the beginning” and encourages readers to explore local history, help preserve the history all around us and support the people, organizations and causes featured in her books. Readers can learn more about this by “Liking” the It Happened on LI Facebook Page and signing up for our newsletter.

Allison also writes about immigration under the “America Explained” label (allisonsingh.com) and has a current events romance series under the pen name Betsy Adams and label “Americans in Love” (americansinlove.com).
